What is Smart School?
Smart School is school management software for private schools from Kindergarten to Grade 12. It keeps enrollment, attendance, grades, report cards, billing, and the parent portal together in one place.
Which grade levels does Smart School support?
You choose your school type when you sign up: K6 (Kindergarten to Grade 6), K10 (Kindergarten to Grade 10), or K12 (Kindergarten to Grade 12). Grade levels, subjects, and the curriculum are created to match, and the whole platform, from enrollment to report cards and imports, only ever offers the grades your school has.
Can I see it before applying?
Yes. There is no self-service free trial, but apply and I will walk you through a live demo school before you decide. You only pay once your pilot slot is confirmed.
What does founding pilot mean?
The first 3 schools to join buy Smart School once, at 50% off the regular one-time price, and own it for life. During the 12-month pilot, hosting, support, maintenance, and reasonable tweaks are all free. Only 3 slots exist.
Is every feature included in every tier?
Yes. Tiers differ only by school size, never by feature. Starter, Growth, and Complete all include enrollment, attendance, grades, report cards, billing, and the parent portal. Large institutions get a plan sized to them; contact us.
How do we pay, and what is the Care plan?
There is no payment when you apply. I confirm your slot first and help you onboard. You then pay once for the software, in Philippine pesos through PayMongo (QRPh, cards, e-wallets) or by invoice, and outside the Philippines by bank transfer (Wise). After that, an annual Care plan covers hosting, updates, backups, and support. The Care plan is free for the whole 12-month pilot, then renews yearly.
Who hosts it, and do we need our own domain?
I host Smart School for you; hosting is part of the Care plan, so you do not manage any servers. You can run on the standard address at no cost, or use your own custom domain, which you register and own, and I connect it for you.
Can we import our current student list?
Yes. I import your student masterlist during onboarding, so you start with your records already in the system.
What happens after the 3 slots are filled?
Founding pilot pricing closes. New schools buy at the regular one-time price. Pilot schools keep everything they bought, for life.
